Day at the CIRCUS

So ready for some circus fun...
Hanging out with dad sucking on sunflower seeds...
No idea who these kids are, but hey Jeff was the one with the camera...
Brody got the chance to go with his cousins to the Circus in Gilbert recently. Elephants, acrobats, all types of fun things to look at! The pictures are still frames from video Jeff shot while there. The videos wouldn't upload, so pictures are the next best thing.

What has been happening September 1-15

Sprinkler FUN!!!
Brody loved playing out in the yard in the sprinklers and was so sad when it was time to go inside.
Cousin Kade pushing Brody. Mt. View (of course) shut out Highland. :(
At the beginning of the month we went to the Highland-Mt. View game. It was a blast, but way too hot for night time. We sat on Mt. View side to root on Emily Rogers. She is the cutest pommie there! Brody seemed so fascinated with her! Kayla Newman's 12th Birthday!!!

Gold Canyon Candle Party

My cute sister-in-law (Summer Jobe) sells Gold Canyon Candles and I am having my first "host" party. Tuesday September 23rd 6:30-8:00 @ my sister, Alisha Newman's house. I would love for anyone to come and eat some goodies and see what smells Gold Canyon has to offer for the Holiday Season. Alisha's address is 18463 E. Cattle Dr. Queen Creek 85242. She has such a cute home and has decorated her kids bedrooms so cute it is worth it to come and check them out!

Ryan on his mission

My little brother Ryan studying hard in the Utah MTC:
Ryan has officially shipped out from the MTC in Utah to Washington D.C. He seems to be doing very well with the Spanish language and writes to my parents often in Spanish. He gained a whole 15 pounds in the MTC, which is great news! His Type 1 diabetes are under control and his only concern is with the constant bike riding he will be doing. With Type 1 you have to eat a snack if you are working out and constantly control your blood sugar. He reports back to his Doctor in AZ and even though there was a concern about everything when he first went into the MTC, he says that he will watch his blood sugar levels. We are excited for him and are always anxious to hear what is happening in the field.

Ahhh...the graduation is done

Well, the big smarty pants finally did it!!!! I can't even start to explain how excited I am that he is finished with school. NO MORE SCHOOL! Here are just a few pictures from the graduation we got back from last night. I have a video to upload and will post that later, but here are a few moments of the great graduation ceremony. Jeff is now a Doctor of Chiropractic. 8 years of schooling after high school and he is done!
In the crowd of the graduated-there were 108 of them.
Heather helped me with Brody on the sidelines because the ceremony lasted 2 and a half hours.
Derek got to hand Jeff his diploma on stage because he is also a Doctor...very nice of the Prices to come and be a part of the celebration.
Tony, Jeff, and Erik.
Vid and Jeff. Vid is also originally from Gilbert and moved out to Texas to go to school. So, Natalie (in the blue) and I are the only ones in this picture who did not graduate-we always said there's no way we could make it through. I think it is neat that Danielle (in pink) graduated-way to go to her.

A little of this ...a little of that

Brody is finally getting his top two teeth! The poor kid is 14 months and only has two teeth. Because of this the kid does not eat! He hates baby food (which is gentle enough because of the lack of teeth) and can't yet chew all the big kid food. In this picture below you can start to see his two spikes coming through.

On Saturday we had a big party for Steve, Jeff's dad, who turned 57! We love the parties!
I m so very excited to announce that I picked up my very own copy of Breaking Dawn! I am very excited to start the book, but not really sure when that will happen.
I have started to bike ride with my dad every Saturday morning. Holy cow I am amazed at how fast that 58 year old can go. I try so hard to keep up...as you can see I was trying very hard and made an embaressing spill. Affter an hour and a half of full on riding by canals I begged him to turn around. I have been trying to get in my own early morning bike rides so that I am not left in the dust so much. I really would love to get a road bike someday and train for future triathlons. We'll see!
Brody is not too sure about stinky, sweaty mom. The look says it all.

Just hanging at the beach

We just got back from staying at the beach for 11 days. We are now a nice golden brown (not sure how long it will last, but hope it will). The Rogers clan go every year in July and this year was year 21! We stay at the same campsite in San Clemente. That's right San Clemente where Ryan Sheckler lives. We ran into him at Pipes breakfast cafe. No, just kidding we didn't, but it's funny to go to all the places they show on his MTV show. I really think Heather was the most sad not to see him :) Just kidding Heather. We boogie boarded, wave skied, lounged, and watched 5 boys in the family do a triathlon.
The boys after the race-feeling so proud of their triathlon accomplishments.I wish I would have taken more pictures, but I was too preoccupied just having fun at the beach and before I knew it I really didn't have many on my memory card going home. Here are just a few of the Rogers hanging out under their umbrellas. My favorite in this picture is that guy over to the right in the background-he has gotten way too much sun in his life, but I kind of think he thinks it is cool. He is even sporting the white bandanna. Kristi is a natural beach lover. She is so calm with her kids and just goes with the flow. I might go a little crazy trying to manage 5 kids there, but she loves it.Jeff loves to wave ski and stayed out for five hours one afternoon not even coming in to eat. That's a love for the ocean.
