Christmas day was mild-Jeff and I slept in! Everyone came over at noon and ripped open presents and then left! That's pretty much it in a nutshell. We did have a great day...I thought it was very special because I got to talk to my brother on his mission! Here are some pictures of our fun Christmas Day! Brody got a Baby Furr Real tiger from Santa-he gets to feed it a bottle, which he loves
Loving the presents, candy, and fun
Finally, I get to hold one of the twins-Brooklyn Belle
This picture is pretty funny-Jeff's dad truing to take pictures of everyone on the little, itty, bitty chair
Everyone just doing the Christmas thing
We all got gumball machines this year! So much fun.

Christmas Fun
We started the parties at the annual Manning Family Christmas gathering. We had a ham dinner followed by a talent show. All of the brothers and sisters and the spouses did a skit where we jumped and danced around the stage. It wasn't great to look at, but it was sure fun to do. I wish I had video of it because it was pretty pathetically funny. Jeff's siblings-Scott and Heather
Brody, dad, mom, and the famous bottle stuck in Brody's mouth
Brody with Santa-hey, thanks Santa for bringing my kid a ball and the LOUDEST kadzoo ever!
We then did Christmas Eve at the Rogers' family annual party. Mexican food and great desserts!
Holly, cousin Tracy (who just got engaged!), and Megan-they are all so pretty
We have a live nativity acted out with the unmarried kids in the family-Mattea doing her best Mary impression.
We had a great time hanging out with cousins, Aunts, and Uncles!

Christmas Ride
Katie and Layne Peterson were nice enough to invite us for a Christmas hay ride for Family Home Evening last Monday night. They took us around their neighborhood looking at the lights and singing Christmas songs. Alot of people in their neighborhood put up Christmas lights, so it was a blast for the kids to see the lights as they rode on the hay. The Jobe family and Prices came with us and really had a great time. Thanks Petersons!
I have SO many pictures to post and cannot find them on my computer. Jeff's sister Holly has her twins last week...Kristen Rogers (sister-in-law) had her baby very early last week as well. All three babies are doing great and we cannot wait for things to settle down so that they can get stronger and hold them! I will put them up as soon as I find them because the new baby girls are SO cute.

Fun filled Saturday
Since all of you know that my sister-in-law is having twins,we just had to throw her a big shower! It turned out great...great weather, great food, and she got some of the cutest gifts. Her two girls: Brooklyn Belle and Londyn Lynn will be so decked out in the cutest attire.
Holly posing with her twin belly and Kristen with her one baby belly. These two are due only two weeks apart. Because Holly is having the twins, she will probably go way earlier than Kristen.
Beautiful cake topper:

Halloween
Halloween was great this year. I got to go trick-or-treating for the first time with my little man who was dressed as the cutest spider. We had a great time going from house to house and talking with people in the neighborhood. We then all headed over to the Rogers' house for their yearly feast of Texas Road House rolls and chili. The party included everyone eating a ton of food and then we all manned our booths to entertain the kiddos. We expected the kids to be tired of the games after a half of an hour. There is only so long you can make animal balloons until you crack. :) I had cute Kali Rogers ask for a "ghost". I explained to her the ones I could make...flower, baseball man, parrot, bunny, or horse. Kali then replies that she wants a ship. I explain her choices again and she asks for a ghost hat. Oh, cute Kali! Here are a few pictures of the evening. I am so mad that I didn't take any more. I got distracted and by the time I realized everyone was pretty much gone.
Brody as a spider, Me as Sarah Palin, and Jeff as Obama (everyone said they will be voting for me:)P.S. We are NOT voting for Obama, but Jeff felt like being a political figure as well.

A baptism and a Halloween party all in one day
I have been a blonde forever and I just felt like a change. I really didn't realize how dark I was dying my hair until it was all done. Crazy. It is so dark.
At Jeff's work there is a dog named Gracie which hangs out there (the owner's dog). Brody LOVES her to death and the big dog is scared to death of him. I thought this picture was hilarious...even though it is fuzzy it shows the dog burying her head while Brody is trying to give her a big hug.
Here are a few pictures of Ashtyn Jobe's baptism:
The Price Family
The Hanchetts
Holly is doing great carrying those twins due in about a month or so.
The cute baptism girl=Ashtyn
Our ward's Halloween party was Saturday night. I was so amazed at how well Brody caught onto to the whole trick-or-treating bit. He would shove his bucket onto someone's lap until he got the candy and then run away and circle around and do it again to the same person. What a cutie!
Seriously, ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

A fun filled weekend!
WHAT COULD POSSIBLE BE IN AUNT KRISTEN'S TUMMY????? Friday night we hung out with Scott, Kristen, Holly, and Ricky. We had some pizza and just lounged around. Very relaxing, cheap weekend (my fav. kind). Brody gets a little bold with Kristen and is always lifting her shirt to find her belly button. This time while trying to find it, I think he was a little surprised with what he found! Kristen is 6 months prego, but has a perfectly round cute belly. Brody just loves, loves her belly now more than ever.
Saturday my nephew, Race Rogers, got baptised out in Phoenix. It was a great program with great catered food to follow. We ate outside of the church at about 6:00 and it was freezing! I am so, so excited it has finally decided to cool down and am very excited for the Holidays right around the corner.

Race got a great gift homemade from Grandma Ellen and Grandpa Steve. It is Book of Mormon figurines special ordered with their stories on note cards on the side. Everyone loved it.
